Position Summary 
• Responsible to the overall management of the Boutique to insure profitability, Brand recognition,  team development, superior customer service and  customer database building and development. It is  also the Manager’s responsibility to communicate  and transmit these expectations to the team.
 
Main Responsibilities 
 
Sales & Store operations 
• Achievement of sales turnover in the Boutiques
• Sets goal for all Sales Associates and motivates  team on a daily basis
• Completes daily and monthly reporting to analyze business trends and needs
• Represents the Brand inside and outside of the 
• Boutique
• To ensure the best management according to  company’s global merchandising and visual  standards
• Responsible for the development of customer  database
• To understand the particularity of the boutique  environment (location) and to suggest action  plan accordingly
• Resolve customer problems or complaints by  determining optimal solutions
• Ensure interior and exterior of store is  maintained to company standards
• Ensure the employees provide exceptional  customer service 
• Holds briefings to insure consistent  communication and information level
• Stock management – stock rotation, monitor  stock level and identify fast and slow sellers,  followed by recommendation of appropriate  actions
• Analyze store performance and propose actions needed
• Cascade communications from office 
• Retail/Marketing/Distribution team, and insures  team understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures
 
Staff Management
• Ensure the development of key role in each  boutique (supervisor, and/or assistant boutique  manager)
• Effectively manage employee turnover. 
• Provide a positive working environment and handle  employee issues appropriately and in a timely  manner
• Responsible for the overall training and  development of Sales Associates and reviews their performances (coaching, one to one)
• Recruit, train, evaluate and counsel store  employees. Schedule, organize and direct  assignments and work schedule
• Ensure all staff is trained in selling techniques  and product knowledge with follow up measures  implemented together with Training Manager
• Completes employee performance evaluations and improvement plans; follow up on a regular  basis
 
Candidate Profile
• At least 3 years of management experience in luxury environment, ideally in Retail
• Fluent local language (Japanese) and good  command of the English language 
• Confident, organized, efficient, good attention to  detail, result and action- oriented with strong  entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong sense of luxury service and aesthetics,  with knowledge & experience of CRM would be a  plus
• A team player with excellent inter-personnel  skills
• A good communicator, able to multitask, to lead  & manage projects on own initiative
• Autonomous with good analytical skills
• IT savvy (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excel skill a definite plus
