Christian Bassett is recruiting a Store Manager for luxury jewellery company.
 
Financial & Commercial Performance
• Own the boutique’s financial results, driving consistent sales growth and exceeding targets
• Motivate the team to achieve individual and collective sales goals
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with regular forecasting and performance analysis
• Use KPIs to guide decisions and improve sales effectiveness
• Manage margins through effective cost control and promotional planning
• Identify growth opportunities and provide clear commercial insights to senior management
• Build strong relationships with brand partners and internal stakeholders
 
Leadership & People Development
• Lead from the sales floor, inspiring the team through example and active client engagement
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with brand values
• Clearly communicate goals, standards, and expectations
• Coach, mentor, and provide regular performance feedback
• Recognise and reward high performance
• Ensure excellence in grooming, behaviour, product knowledge, and luxury selling standards
 
Talent & Capability Development
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and probation processes
• Partner with training teams to assess needs and deliver tailored development plans
• Ensure completion of brand and product training programs
• Develop future leaders through succession planning and coaching
 
Client Experience & Development
• Oversee the end-to-end client journey to ensure consistent luxury service
• Lead personalised, memorable client experiences
• Resolve client issues professionally and proactively
• Develop and execute client development and loyalty strategies
• Drive repeat purchases and increase client lifetime value
• Use client data to support targeted outreach and engagement
 
Events & Client Activations
• Plan and support client events aligned with commercial and client strategies
• Identify key clients for exclusive activations
• Ensure events deliver strong client engagement and sales results
• Review event performance and recommend improvements
 
Operational Excellence
• Maintain impeccable boutique presentation and luxury standards
• Oversee inventory control, loss prevention, and stock accuracy
• Ensure high standards of hospitality, security, and safety compliance
• Ensure accurate use of POS, CRM, and reporting systems
 
Skills & Experience
• Proven leadership experience in luxury retail, preferably jewellery and timepieces
• Strong sales and clienteling background with high-value clients
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Commercially minded with strong business acumen
• Experience in performance, project, and change management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS, and clienteling systems
