Christian Bassett is recruiting a Senior Marketing Manager, ASEANIA for a leading European luxury fashion company.
 
• The Senior Marketing Manager reports into the General Manager - ASEANIA with a functional dotted line reporting to the APAC Marketing Director and will be fully accountable for the development and execution of the ASEANIA Marketing Strategy across the region. 
• The Senior Marketing Manager in conjunction with the management team will be responsible for developing and strengthening the overall organization and provide on the ground leadership needed to achieve market, financial and operational targets.
• This leadership role is required to identify and articulate the ASEANIA marketing strategies, to manage a 360 degree of marketing touchpoints to facilitate the influence of the brand aligned with HQ brand  positioning and global initiatives to meet the dynamic consumer needs. 
• The role has one subordinate who manages Brand Communications and Events.
 
Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop marketing functions for  ASEANIA based on a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, products, and market trends.
• Conduct consumer insight research to inform strategic decisions on market approaches and consumer communications.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy across all product categories, in alignment with global and local business goals, in collaboration with retail, merchandising, and Milan HQ.
• Partner with HQ to maintain and elevate overall brand positioning.
• Execute marketing activities effectively across all consumer touchpoints, leveraging CRM and consumer insights to enhance brand image and loyalty.
• Represent the brand across all communication channels to build and enhance brand image.
• Manage relationships with key external stakeholders and agencies to maximize ROMI on marketing spend.
• Collaborate with HQ and APAC teams to engage the right profiles and involve them in marketing activities.
• Build a strong local marketing team, ensuring succession planning with local talent.
• Develop and manage the annual marketing operating budget within established guidelines.
 
Candidate Profile: 
• Overall, the successful candidate will need to bring strong change management leadership skills. 
• While management styles vary, the successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, with a contagious enthusiasm. 
• The successful candidate must demonstrate breadth of commercial and knowledge in the luxury retail sector, and the intellectual ability to grasp issues quickly.
• Therefore, this individual may not necessarily bring luxury retail experience, but ASEANIA market experience is necessary to lead the operation in the current complex situation
