Christian Bassett is recruiting a Salon Manager for a leading European jewellery company.
The purpose of the position is to monitor sales and develop business opportunities, ensure the sales results are achieved in the designated Salon.
Role & Responsibility
Sales Development
• Supervise the retail team to ensure smooth sales operations
• Supervise daily boutique operation to ensure compliance on retail policies, brand image and maximize operation efficiency
• Achieve sales budget through team motivation and merchandise assortment
• Retail stock and merchandising management to enhance sales efficiency
• Retail business analysis, sales follow up and reporting to management 
Staff Management
• Lead and motivate the sales teams to foster a high performance culture
• Hold regular team meetings to ensure management team working towards the sales strategy for the area
• Ensure all staff are performing to the required level and take remedial action where required
• Work with training team to identify training needs of the sales team and implement the training plans 
Marketing and Other Projects
• Work with Communication Team to organize events and execute retail projects
• Work closely with internal departments for various project planning and implementations
Internal contacts
• Sales, Merchandising, Communication, Finance, HR, Training Teams
External contacts
• Customers and business partners
Qualifications / Education Requirements
• Education: University degree;
• Experience: at least 8 years or above relevant experience preferably in luxury retail industry;
• Behavioral competencies: Detailed & self-managed; strong in project management and presentation skill; 
• Existing relationships with local socialites, elites, successful entrepreneurs
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
