Christian Bassett is recruiting a Salon Manager for a European luxury watch & jewellery company.
The purpose of the position is to lead the salon performance by:
• Personally contributing to sales and generating opportunities for oneself and for the Team
• Creating sales opportunities inside and outside the salon whenever applicable
• Leading the Sales Team by developing their skills and supporting each team member to expand his/her client’s portfolio
• Supervising and guiding the Team CRM development strategies and activities
• Organizing daily workload and time management
Role & Responsibility
Sales Performances and business development 
• Drive and exceed sales performance supported by salon business strategies and relevant KPI
• Analyze the salon business to maximize sales results
• Propose and implement strong 360 degree sales plans on monthly, quarterly, yearly basis and develop salon sales activities with retail manager
• Demonstrate sales leadership and train the team to represent the company
• Set smart objectives to the team with relevant KPI
• Drive boutique high jewelry performances, act as a brand ambassador to build and strengthen relationships with VIP clientele and suss a new client pool
• Represent the company as a top Jewelry Maison at the pinnacle of the luxury good industry, in department stores, during internal meetings, events and client meetings
• Instruct and supervise the staff for best practice execution following company operating guidelines and procedures
Client Development & Client Experience 
• Enhance, execute exceptional client experiences and build long term client relationships
• Ensure a smooth client experience through an effective floor management, daily team feedbacks and cross functional collaboration
• Identify and execute client development plan, clienteling initiatives and client follow up
• Build, develop and maintain local and international client network
Leadership & Team (Staff) Development 
• Identify retail talents and recruit them 
• Act as an inspiring leader and a role model on a daily basis while creating a strong team spirit 
• Build trustful relationships across the organization and particularly with the retail team
• Manage individual sales drive, fostering high performance behaviors towards sales goals and follow each and every one daily tasks 
• Identify individual / team development training needs and communicate with retail manager 
• Convey the company’s DNA and work values to the team, a high sense of responsibility, covering job training and Maison spirit, practices, duties to catch the right KPI results 
• Attract, develop and retain a high performing team through leading, coaching and training 
• Assist the retail manager in identifying and recruiting the most qualified candidates to meet the key business needs 
Operations & Business Models 
• Uphold salon operations, audit and inventory management 
• Constantly improve boutique flows and internal organization 
• Ensure compliance of all Maison guideline
