Christian Bassett is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead and oversee the production operations of a luxury jewelry manufacturing facility.

This role requires a deep understanding of fine jewelry craftsmanship, materials, and high-end production standards. The ideal candidate will ensure all pieces are produced with the highest level of quality, precision, and efficiency while maintaining brand excellence and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the end-to-end luxury jewelry production process — from design handover through CAD, casting, setting, polishing, finishing, and quality control.
• Develop and manage detailed production schedules to align with sales and client deadlines.
• Maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality in line with luxury brand expectations.
• Supervise skilled artisans and production staff, ensuring productivity, motivation, and attention to detail.
• Collaborate closely with design, sourcing, and merchandising teams to execute complex and bespoke pieces.
• Ensure traceability and accountability of all materials used, especially precious metals and gemstones.
• Monitor the use of high-value inventory and implement strict material control procedures.
• Enforce quality control checks at each production stage to prevent defects and ensure excellence.
• Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., stone setters, platers) while maintaining internal quality standards.
• Drive operational improvements, minimize waste, and enhance production efficiency without compromising quality.
• Report on key production metrics and maintain accurate documentation of production workflows.
• Ensure all safety, compliance, and ethical standards are upheld in the manufacturing process.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Gemology, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in Jewelry Production, Lean Manufacturing, or Quality Management (e.g., GIA, RJC compliance) are highly preferred.

Experience:
• Minimum 5–7 years in luxury or high-end fine jewelry production, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Proven experience managing the production of bespoke, one-of-a-kind, and high-value jewelry pieces.
• Strong familiarity with luxury quality standards, hallmarking, and international regulations (e.g., REACH, RJC).
• Experience working with precious metals (platinum, 18K gold) and high-value gemstones (diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires).

Skills:
• Technical understanding of all stages of fine jewelry production.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to aesthetic and technical details.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain luxury craftsmanship at scale.

Language:
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) are a plus, especially for international brand collaboration.

Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
