Christian Bassett is recruiting a Marketing Communications & Event Senior Manager.

  • The Head of Marketing leads all PR, marketing communications, retail event management, and local celebrity engagement activities to enhance brand visibility, strengthen market presence, and support overall business objectives.
  • This role ensures cohesive messaging, powerful brand storytelling, and effective market activation across all client touchpoints.

Key Accountabilities

Public Relations

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy that elevates the organization’s image and reinforces market positioning.
  • Oversee all PR materials and external communications, including press releases, statements, and media kits.
  • Direct the editorial direction, design, and distribution of organizational publications.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key media contacts.
  • Act as the official spokesperson for the organization, ensuring all media responses are timely, accurate, and brand-aligned.

Marketing Communications

  • Lead integrated marketing communication strategies across all channels including SNS, KakaoTalk Channel and the company’s Korea website to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials, campaign assets, and storytelling content.
  • Manage brand communication calendars, ensuring alignment with global and local brand directions.
  • Support client engagement and market awareness through clear, compelling, and brand-appropriate messaging.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment with Retail, Merchandising, and HQ teams for all communication initiatives.

Retail Event Management

  • Plan, develop, and oversee retail event strategies designed to drive store traffic, client experience, and commercial performance.
  • Partner with Retail, VM, and Merchandising teams to ensure seamless and brand-aligned execution.
  • Supervise event calendars, budgets, and operational guidelines.
  • Track and analyze event performance based on KPIs and customer insights to optimize future initiatives.

Local Celebrities

  • Build and maintain relationships with local celebrities, KOLs, stylists, and cultural influencers.
  • Develop partnership strategies that enhance brand visibility and desirability.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications, events and public relations activities.
  • Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media.
  • Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
  • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Out-of-town, overnight travel is required.
