Christian Bassett is recruiting a Franchise Boutique Sales Manager, North Asia for a luxury watch & jewellery company.
Boutique Development & Animation
- Lead the development of our franchised boutiques in Korea (9 Franchise Boutiques), Taiwan (3 Franchise Boutiques + Wholesale POS) and Hong Kong (3 Franchise Boutiques), ensuring alignment with the brand’s image and commercial objectives.
- Partner with franchisees and wholesale partners to optimize store performance, including assortment planning, staff training, customer experience and end-client sales activations.
- Design and implement boutique animation strategies (events, activations, VIP programs) to drive traffic, sales, and brand desirability.
- Guarantee excellence in visual merchandising and boutique presentation, maintaining the brand’s high-end positioning.
Sales & Market Development
- Achieve sales targets (sell-in and sell-out) and secure replenishment orders across all product lines and channels; including all the Franchise Boutiques as well as the company’s corners, wall-units and multi-brands in Taiwan.
- Prepare and execute 360° market action plans (sales, marketing, media, POS development, incentives, training).
- Monitor KPIs and sales dashboards to direct activities and maximize turnover.
- Lead partners on stock composition, leveraging sell-out data to improve rotation and re-assortment.
- Review and optimize pricing structures considering competition, taxes, margins, and exchange rates.
Client & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors (Korea), (Taiwan) and HK Franchise Boutique partners, ensuring alignment on sales strategies and boutique development.
- Conduct regular market visits to boutiques and POS, engaging with sales staff and ensuring operational excellence.
- Organize impactful local events & activities with partners to promote the brand and drive sales.
- Provide account service including product training, sales operations administration, and customer service case handling.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to track the brand’s positioning against industry trends.
- Collect insights for new contracts and boutique development opportunities.
- Ensure wholesale operations and boutique strategies align with the brand’s global objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree holder or above
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in retail management, team leadership, client development, and product merchandising
- Solid experience in wholesale & franchised boutique management, with strong expertise in VIP client engagement
- Strong background in luxury retail, highly preferably in Watches and Jewellery
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite with hands on experience in Oracle and Salesforce
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Sales-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen
- Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Team player with outstanding time management and multitasking abilities
