Christian Bassett is recruiting an Assistant HR Manager, Korea for a luxury jewellery company.
Position overview
• Provide full spectrum of HR services to local management team and employees in Korea.
• Work closely with managers to support business plans.
Role & Responsibility
Recruitment and Selection
• Collaborate to ensure that the recruitment approach remains fit for purpose, providing business with a consistent and fair process;
• Maintain up-to-date recruitment progress report, talent database and all related staffing communication;
• Ensure proper branding in the job market through head-hunter, candidates and other stakeholder.
Compensation and Benefits
• Monitor payroll outsourcing company to ensure a smooth and timely payroll operations and other mandatory contributions;
• Gather all necessary data to benchmark salaries and benefits;
• Compile all data needed for the Annual Salary Review process.
Employee Relations
• Manage disciplinary processes and grievances to ensure that the company policy is followed accurately;
• Support managers and employees to undertake a fair and consistent process.
General HR operations
• Monitor daily HR operations and documentations;
• Liaise with legal consultants to ensure Company policies are legally complied.
• Organize meetings and execute sessions of disciplinary actions.
• Assist in ad hoc HR projects.
Qualifications / Education Requirements
• Language: native in Korean, fluent in English (mandatory).
• Degree holder in Human Resources Management or other relevant discipline
• At least 5years related working experience preferably gained in multinationals companies or in luxury retail industry
• Task-oriented, attentive to details, independent, flexible and self-driven
• Team Player with excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
