Christian Bassett is recruiting for a Senior Communications & Marketing Associate for a luxury fashion company.
This is a newly created position and will report to Communications and Marketing Director in the region.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and launch relevant public relations strategies that fit company profile to enhance brand awareness
• Strategize to combine digital PR with traditional PR on content marketing, social media and research
• Initiate and upkeep relationships with local brand ambassadors, celebrities, local and regional media, etc.
• Launch product seeding with celebrities and KOLs for brand and products exposure
• Accurate media monitoring on print and digital sphere to identify opportunities
• Prepare press material and manage daily press enquiries and samples delivery & collection in APAC region
• Stay connected with local and regional media & KOLs
• Daily inventory maintenance of samples in the APAC region
• Responsible for daily update of SAP system on regional sample status such as invoices, stock takes, gifting, regional inventory transfers
• Manage monthly/ seasonal clipping reports, analysis reports and etc.
• Responsible for the smooth operation of assigned events, from planning stage, pulling together all event details, logistics for successful execution, through actual event completion, debrief and clean up
• Supervising marketing activities of direct stores, franchise and wholesale partners
• Manage the flow of information and disseminate with various franchise partners
• Liaising with headquarter to obtain relevant approval on PR, events & marketing planning, execution, and evaluation
• Making use of all institutional marketing & Communications tools available and adapting to local needs
• Budget preparation and control
• Coordinate event happening with other departments and relevant external partners to optimize Company resources and budget allocation
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Public Relations, Communications or related discipline
• At least 3 years relevant experience in Marketing and PR in fashion or luxury retail
• Efficient & attention to details, meticulous, proactive, initiative and responsible
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated, creative, self-discipline, able to work under pressure and to meet tight schedule
• Able to work independently
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese with good verbal presentation skills
