Christian Bassett is seeking a Retail Manager Southeast Asia for a high-end feminine fashion company.

• Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, SEA, the Retail Manager will play a key role in supporting the company’s ongoing expansion, particularly as they continue to grow the team and open new boutiques in Singapore and Thailand in December 2025.
• This position is responsible for training and developing retail teams to drive sales growth, profitability, and client excellence. 
• The role also ensures compliance with in-store policies and procedures, achievement of KPIs, and the cultivation of professional relationships through effective retail training programs and strong leadership

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define strategic direction and implement actionable plans to achieve sales targets across all stores.
  • Maximize sales performance by executing store service strategies, tracking individual team performance, and driving motivation through structured training and incentives within policy and budget.
  • Develop market-specific strategies for client outreach, retention, and service excellence.
  • Ensure store managers effectively grow and manage the client database, maintaining professional relationships while adhering to local legislation and company policy.
  • Uphold exceptional standards of client service across all stores—ensuring both VIP and non-VIP clients receive a consistently high level of service, in line with brand expectations.
  • Train and develop Store Managers and store teams to deliver excellence in client engagement, brand storytelling, and product expertise.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire the retail team to consistently perform at their best.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employee relations policies and procedures relevant to the region.
  • Ensure all stores maintain a consistently high level of visual merchandising in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Lead the execution of “In-Store Events” across locations, aligned with the Retail Calendar.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior, multi-site retail leadership role.
  • A committed and collaborative team player with a strong focus on performance and client service excellence.
  • Inspirational leadership with the ability to motivate teams at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven time management abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
