Job summary:

  • Planning and management of training programs aimed at providing the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the objectives of the Region/Country
  • Implementation of development programs aimed at consolidating the skills and motivation of the employees of the Region/Country


  • In line with the indications provided by the Learning and Development department in Italy and with those of the main local stakeholders
  • Partner with the HQ L&D Dept to assess current learning and development regional needs through, but not limited to, surveys, interviews, office and store visits
  • Evaluate both organizational and individual learning and development needs within the assigned geographical areas
  • Collect training needs to meet specific local needs and to implement corporate initiatives
  • Define the training offering by taking care of the design and preparation of the learning material directly or through suppliers
  • Propose and prepare Regional L&D programs, activities and material
  • Design solutions, both in-house and with expert third parties, which includes a blended approach to learning (coaching, classroom training, 1:1 sessions, action learning, etc.)
  • Ensure that the design of training initiatives is consistent and relevant with company needs and expectations
  • Design and create training manuals, online learning modules, and course materials
  • Develop modules of behavioural trainings and apply them though classroom or online format
  • Deliver behavioral and managerial courses, new-hire onboarding
  • Guarantee accurate project management through the timely coordination of external suppliers
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the training provided using quantitative and qualitative indicators
  • Analyze data and elaborate proposals as input to new projects
  • Coordinate and monitor the phases of the Performance Management process
  • Prepare and deliver specific development initiatives to support growth plans and career paths based on the results of the Performance Management
  • Constantly verify the success of the development plans provided and support colleagues in making the most of learning opportunities
  • Provide continuous feedback on effective monitoring of the training and / or development plan provided
  • Make effective use of the LMS digital platform and the digital tools provided
  • Work effectively with the logistics of L&D initiatives through Success Factors
  • Manage the assigned budget(When applicable)
  • Manage the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance
  • Perform other duties as directed

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master degree in relevant field of study, preferably in Psychology, Adult Learning Education or Management of Human Resources
  • Additional certification is a plusStrong background in learning and development with at least 10 years of relevant training experience, including training delivery and facilitation
  • Strong ability to demonstrate influence and champion for change
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the agility to shift priorities as the needs of the business evolve
  • Strong capabilities of Project management gained in complex organization
  • Significant experience in creating, delivering and driving development strategies and plan
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Solid communication and presentation abilitiesDigital mindset
  • Fluent in English and market language; other language is a plus
