Christian Bassett is recruiting a Communications Manager, Singapore for a European luxury fashion company.
Reports to: General Manager, Singapore & Malaysia
Direct Reports: Senior Communications Specialist, Singapore
Role Mission
Reporting directly to the General Manager, Singapore & Malaysia, the
Communications Manager, Singapore, plays a key role in the management of all Communications matters within Singapore.
Key Accountabilities
Public Relations
• Develop and manage annual plans and Communications budget
• Implement and manage relationships with media, celebrities and influencers.
• Act as brand representative within local fashion and media industry
• Effective communication of the brand and product messages to media, customers and general public
• Secure positive publicity and product placement for all brands through relevant editorial and feature stories on all relevant platforms
• Manage Press relations, press material & PR samples
Advertising
• Lead planning and booking of traditional media and digital advertising to meet approved budgets and facilitate international approval processes
• Make creative selections and manage advertising material production and dispatch processes
• Management of media agencies
Events
• Plan and execute brand events which are in line with the brand directions
Key Requirements
• Degree in Communications / Marketing or related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the luxury and/or fashion industry
• Experienced in organizing and managing brand and client events
• Experienced with good relations and network with local media/press
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines
• Disciplined, well-presented with excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills
• Highly driven and enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Resourceful, results oriented and a good team player
• Highly competent in MS Office applications
