On 6th December 2011, Prada presented its Spring-Summer 2012 women's and men's collections in a fashion show in Tokyo. The runway show was held in an industrial location in the Shin Shuna neighbourhood, in the outskirts of Tokyo.
The fashion show was attended by 200 people and was the biggest ever fashion show event in Tokyo. 
Six international bloggers were invited to the event: Brian Boy, Susie Lau, Diane Pernet, Rumi Neely who provided live commentary with photography from two Japanese bloggers: Misha Janette and Tokyo Dandy. 
The show was streamed on the Prada website.
 

After a successful year in China, French Fashion House Dior have concluded this busy year of store openings and events with the Grand Opening of its 800 square meters Flagship Store in Beijing Shin Kong Place. Dozens of artists, Chinese celebrities and local socialites have been invited to take part in the ribbon cutting ceremony assisted by LVMH CEO and Chairman Bernard Arnault, Christian Dior President and CEO Sidney Toledano, Christian Dior VP Delphine Arnault and the famous movie stars Huang Xiaoming and Maggie Cheung.
The event it’s also been the occasion for the opening of “Lady Dior As Seen By” exhibition which will be on show till January 16 2012 and presents more than 50 creations from contemporary artists of international notoriety among with Rong Rong, Liu Jianhua, Huang Rui and Inri. A dinner party and fashion show featuring its S/S 2012 collection was the perfect conclusion to the Grand Opening of the Flagship Store and the successful 2011 in China for this French Fashion giant.
 

Christian Bassett expanded their business in Asia with the introduction of their Hong Kong office.  Opening in December 2011 the office is based in World-Wide House at the heart of the Central shopping and business district between Connaught Road and Pedder Street.
This is the 3rd office in Asia Pacific in the last 3 years with Christian Bassett Singapore opening in 2009 followed by Shanghai in 2010
 

Louis Vuitton will open its first space dedicated solely to its fine jewellery and watches in Paris next year. The address, 23 Place Vendôme , one of the most exclusive places in the world for high jewellery. Spearheaded last year by Lorenz Bäumer with his L’Ame du Voyage Collection for LV, this is an excellent marketing strategy for the Fashion House to become a major player in the world of fine jewels. “The Louis Vuitton store at place Vendôme is as fundamental a step for our jewellery collection as our workshop at Asnières was for our trunks in 1859 or as our workshop in Fiesso d’Artico in Italy was for our shoes in 2000,” says Yves Carcelle, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton Malletier.
