    Louis Vuitton will be expanding their London Flagship store on Bond St after acquiring the adjacent site, which was recently vacated by Donna Karan, who has relocated. The overall square footage will be greatly increased, resulting in the store becoming one of the largest luxury outlets in the UK. The boarding is already up and the new store is planned to open in early 2009.

    Fendi recently staged one of the most amazing runway fashion shows of all time, selecting the Great Wall of China as the location! “I seriously doubt that there will be anything of this magnitude or anything this magical for a very long time”, said Kate Bosworth, following Fendi�s monumental, sunset show on the Great Wall. There was a star studded audience of over 500 guests in attendance, as well as the LVMH Chairman, Mr Arnault, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld.

    Miu Miu is opening its third boutique in New York on East 57th street. The new East 57th street store will compliment their existing stores, which are found at Madison Avenue and Soho. Brian Schwagerl, Vice President for real estate for Hearst Corp, the publishing company that owns the building, described the news as, “a big coup for 57th Street”. The site previously housed Jil Sander, the brand Prada sold in 2006.

    Longchamp have opened a huge, three level, Flagship store in New York (132 Spring Street, at Greene Street; 212-343-7444). The massive store also contains a roof deck and a cascading lobby. The store opened amid considerable fanfare, attracting a host of celebrities and industry VIP’s, as well as considerable press attention.
